As a Senior Consultant at Kintla, Hock Lye is part of the delivery team for our Focus4Safety, Resilience, and High-Performance Teams programs. He also contributes to the design and development of programs in leadership and Focus4Safety.
Hock Lye is a seasoned senior executive with more than 30 years’ experience developing and growing businesses across Asia for the mining, construction, and engineering and technology industries. As the Asia CEO of a Belgium based mining company, he was responsible for revenue of USD 300 Mio, 1,700 employees across more than 20 operation sites. He led the entry, growth, and integration of businesses in China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, and the Philippines with a strong focus on operations excellence, health & safety, and talent development. A successful health and safety program initiated in Asia by Hock Lye was adopted globally with similar result.
He is a strong believer that for an organization to be successful, each member of the team needs to be engaged – body, mind, and heart. He is the co-founder of an HR Tech company that provides e-coaching to executives, advises other starts-up, and volunteers at the Asia Institute of Mentoring for their mentor certification programs and as a mentor.
